Angry Scenes Records was conceived as an idea in mid 2005, at a time when I realised that if you want something done, you've got to do it yourself!!! The punk & hardcore scene will only survive if people give something back, if they get involved and don't rely on everyone else to do something for them. That's why we have Punk Shit Records and some of the best Punk bands in the UK, because those people got off their arses and did something for the scene and for themselves. They didn't rely on someone else, hoping they would get them gigs, or release their records. They just thought "Fuck it!!! I'll do it myself!!!" Fair fuckin' play to em' if you ask me!......

 The D.I.Y spirit that exists in Birmingham made me want to do something more than hope that someone will put a good gig on, or release my band's record. There's some great people in the underground punk & hardcore scene in Birmingham and I took inspiration from them to get off my arse and start doing things for the scene, for my own band and for the bands that I love and respect......

Angry Scenes Records is run by me (Paul). What I hope to do won't change the world, but will hopefully present some great bands and songs at a price that's not a rip off. I'm not out to make money, just to get some music out there and be able to say "at least I tried"......
